Who is katarinas dad
When Katarina Rostova came in Season 7 of The Blacklist , she tried to kill Reddington, which didn't make sense because Red didn't seem to hate her. She then went ahead to kidnap Illya Koslov, who was supposed to be her childhood friend and the person that helped her escape from her woes. From the facts we have so far, Illya did nothing short of what was best for Katarina and her family, except try to kill her, but that was on Dom's orders. Katarina didn't care when she performed the procedure that hurt Illya while trying to extract his memories, causing him hallucinations.
So, why does this Katarina Rostova seem to have lost touch with everything and everyone from her past? From the first season, fans had the impression that Katarina and Red would make a powerful team of invincible criminal masterminds, not the worst of enemies. The Blacklist has never revealed the exact nature or Reddington's relationship with the real Reddington except that they had an affair and later a child. Katarina helped this Reddington take her lover's identity, which would make them partners in crime.
When Katrina faked her death by walking into the sea, Reddington watched it happen, meaning they were together at the beach. If they were happy with each other, Red helping Katarina and protecting her daughter with his life as he has so far, why are they enemies now? Katarina Rostova is supposed to be the female version of Raymond Reddington with a history so great that intelligence agencies shiver at the mention of her name.
The people with the closest connection to her were Dom, Red, and Illya Koslov, all of whom don't seem to recognize this Katarina. When Dom saw her, despite being sick, he didn't seem to have that face of a father that has seen his daughter. Reddington has also dismissed her as a delusional woman that wants to take advantage of Liz and nothing more. According to the timelines, she is supposed to have been gone for 30 years. Still, someone should at least be able to identify her, which raises the question, is the woman fighting with Reddington really Katarina Rostova?
When you abandon your daughter for 30 years and come back after she has become a mother, a widow, and also an excellent FBI agent, you should at least show some remorse. Assuming that Katarina's enemies are as powerful as the show has made everyone believe, then staying hidden would be her best play. Coming into Liz's life now only makes her a target to everyone that wants to hurt Katarina. If Katarina chose to protect her family by hiding for 30 years, what does she want now?
Why come when her enemies seem to be more powerful than they were when she fled? The only explanation is that she has thrown caution to the wind and decided to let all hell loose down on poor Liz and her daughter.
There are also a lot of champions whose relationships with their dad — good and bad — helped to mold them into the characters we love today. Kegan Rodhe, the man who would become the creature Brand, and his mother were cast out of the Freljord because his father was a member of an enemy clan.
Very uncool bro. Then, they had their daughter imprisoned when she acted out and killed foreign miners. It was only years later that Sett learned the terrible truth that his dad had abandoned his family, seeking glory and profit in tours across Runeterra. While Katarina works to redeem herself, Marcus raised others simply to spite her.
I knew Noxians were cold but damn man. Of course, much like Frankenstein and his monster Blitzcrank turned out to be a rampaging monster.
The man who shared his interesting expeditions whenever he returned to Piltover, this unnamed father inspired his son to become the Prodigal Explorer. That said, he could have been a bit more open-minded when his son came back to Demacia with a fine half-dragon lady who saved his life.
A bit overprotective, never letting his daughter venture out into the world alone, when she was poisoned by sneaking into Zaun he worked tirelessly to keep her alive by replacing damaged organs with hextech contraptions. Clearly, he was right to protect her, but he also helped make her into the woman she is now both literally and metaphorically. This guy is literally known as the Father of the Forest aka the Green Father whose sworn mission in life is to protect the creatures of the forest.
Ivern believes all the creatures of the forest are precious, always offering a helping hand to every wolf, raptor, and brambleback he can find. After Katarina intervened to stop a rape, she realized that Anton Velov would hear of it and know she was still alive. Hunted by Velov and his men, Ilya took on the identity of Raymond Reddington to protect them both and to keep Reddington from being discredited.
Katarina met her father when he made it to America himself and promised to send him a letter via a post office box when it was safe for her again. According to Dom, he checked the box every week for 28 years and never once received word from Katarina. Red tracks her down and finds her walking on a dark street.
Katarina kisses him, and then stabs him with a syringe. Katerina is alive and in hiding with a new identity with only a few people knowing this information. In " Konets ", after the death of her daughter at the hands of Elias VanDyke , her only living relative is her granddaughter Agnes Keen. She is briefly mentioned by Peter Kotsiopulos when Liz searches for the truth and finds out that Katarina is her mother.
She reappeared in a flashback. Katarina and Liz briefly see each other. Katarina was present when Red was operated on by Hans Koehler as she arranged for him to have the operation. Alan Fitch is heard on tape ordering Katarina Rostova to frame Red for treason.
We learn the history of what happened to Katarina after she walked into the sea and her relationship with the impostor, her friend and lover Ilya Koslov. Katarina appears in a series of flashbacks as the truth about Raymond Reddington is revealed.
It's revealed that the woman Reddington killed is not in fact the real Katarina Rostova but a woman named Tatiana Petrova who was assigned by Dom long ago to play the part of Katarina so that he and Ilya Koslov could fake her death, thus protecting the real Katarina.
