It was very calm and relaxing. I will go back one day. I bought a mask and snorkel at the end of the day to have it available for snorkeling at another beach the next day. The mask was defective. When I returned the next morning to swap the defective mask for another one, the manager absolutely refused to work with me. The mask had not been used. I did not ask for a refund. I simply wanted to swap an unused, defective mask for a good one.

Buyer beware!!! Do not expect typical customer service at Horseshoe Bay. Bermuda is the best place to visit. Look for cab T Maeme is one classy lady that can give the best tour and history of the island. After I thought about it, I still say it is a bargain. It is awesome!! It is the most beautiful place on Earth. I loved the pink sand, the multi-colored ocean, rock formations, the cave, the friendly people, and the fish sandwich. We will definitely return someday.

Hopefully soon. I worked briefly in Bermuda during Horseshoe bay was my favourite beach then and it looks like its still as good as ever. Hope to return some day. I was to Horseshoe Bay Beach in October of and by far the water was crystal clear blue and the sand noticeably pink. The small cove and rock formations are definitely worth checking out. This beach is by far the most beautiful beach I have ever visited.

I would definitely urge anyone to go at least once in their lifetime. Serene, beautiful, peaceful and I will never forget it! And yes the dollar back to the top is worth it and the driver was very nice and informative! I love Horseshoe. It is awesome.

The water is crystal clear and the sand is beautiful and really noticeably pink. I highly recommend it to any tourists. Horseshoe Bay is the best beach in the world.

The small cove is fantastic. The rock outcroppings, the shallow water, the sound of the breaking waves on the rock make this secluded spot a tropical paradise.

Bermuda is the best place on earth. I lived there for 5 years and am now about to return for a 2 week visit. There truly is no other place like it. I was at Horseshoe Beach a few days ago. It was absolutely breathtaking! We loved it so much we are planning to go back! The water was spectacularly blue, clean, but salty. The life guards were diligent, helpful. The beach had sea weeds scattered about.

Overall, the beach was nice, but not the nicest. I found all the people to be very friendly too! I have been to Bermuda several times. It is a very beautiful island and Horseshoe Bay is the prettiest beach I have ever seen. It is absolutely breathtaking. The people of Bermuda are very friendly and helpful. Not once have I ever experienced rude or an unpleasant personality. I have always experienced the exact opposite.

When my husband and I travelled to Bermuda with our young children we always offered help with the stroller or holding a door for us etc. If you ever get a chance I highly recommend travelling to Bermuda at least once in your life!

I hope to visit again someday! I went to Horse Shoe Bay Beach with my husband. It was a romantic and beautiful day. It was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. I went to Bermuda and visited Horseshoe Bay and it was like you were actually in a dream. I am definitely going back and I recommend anyone to go. You and your family will really enjoy it. Horseshoe Bay was breathtaking. From the moment we stepped on the beach we felt like we was in heaven.

Just being in such a beautiful atmosphere brought my wife and myself so much closer together. I have been to Bermuda six times and my next trip is this June! I have to say it is the most relaxing location I have ever been to! Get my Dark and Stormy ready! I was there in August and it was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been. Several of the pictures I took there have been blown up and decorate my house.

I have never been anywhere that I have loved as much as this place. They were very friendly to my husband and myself. We were staying with a friend of ours here on the island and found people to be very helpful and genuine. These islands are paradise and just a note about the others who said Bermuda did not have the "Caribbean" feel to it.

I love all the comments. Horseshoe has been my favourite since I had one. I went to Horseshoe Bay Beach in September It was incredible. All the locals were so nice and it was so worth the dollar to have the gentleman bring you to the top of the road at the end.

Horseshoe Bay Beach and Shuttle Service. We were recently in Bermuda on a cruise ship. We went to Horseshoe Bay Beach for the day. Here is my experience and suggestions: Take the beach shuttle its cheaper than a taxi. You don't have to go to the transportation office to buy shuttle tickets. Save yourself the extra time and effort.

Pay the driver cash. Make sure you have the correct amount to give the driver. Also please remember to tip the driver, they work hard! The other good thing about the shuttle service is that they take you to the bottom area by the beach to drop you off and pick you up. This way you don't have all that walking to do to get to the beach.

It is the area where you will see many taxis waiting to pick up fares. There are also signs for the beach shuttle area. The shuttle runs to the beach from a. The last shuttle to the ship is at p. When you get to Horseshoe Bay Beach there are bathrooms, a restaurant as well as a rental area where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. The beach is beautiful, the sand is pink, the water is warm and blue, there are trails and caves to explore.

OnAir Bermuda 1 contribution. Horseshoe Bay is great for tourist. The beach has lifegaurds on duty during the summer also they have a food stall, bathrooms, payphones, and a kiddie cove. The beach has crystal clear water, nice size waves and it has the famous Bermuda pick sand.

This is a public beach that has clean water and lots of facilities. The sand doesn't really look pink, don't get fooled like a tourist. There are some pink speckles here and there but please!!!! It looks pink when the water wets it a little so it comes out looking pink in pictures. We were disappointed with the color claims! Beyond that tourist trappy speculation, the beach is gorgeous and has showers, changing stations, bathrooms and a little place to pick up food, basically everything you need.

You can get there by bus 7 which is a scenic route and highly recommended. You need to be a bit in shape because there is a hill you must climb but if you take your time, it's definitely worth the little work out. The water was warm in the beginning of May and the sand feels soft and they keep the beach clean so please respect that! It was definitely our favorite beach and I'm sure gets some crowds on the weekends but during the week it was empty.

Occasionally there are the Portuguese Man of War that wash in not many but keep your eyes out and if you go to Bermuda - definitely pack your goggles. Not only will you see down to your feet the water is so clean but you can spot some beautiful fish. This is the beach we hit over and over and couldn't get enough.

Our Favorite Beach in Bermuda. This is my favorite by far. A Gift shop for that special shirt or gift. My number one for all those reasons! Enjoy folks it does get crowded. If you're lucky enough to be visiting Bermuda via a cruise ship or flight , Horseshoe Bay Beach needs to be on your to-do list!

The beach is incredibly clean and if you're adventurous, and don't mind a bit of a hike, you can practically enjoy your own private cove area! The water is a gorgeous turquoise and very clear. From time to time, you'll see black and white stripped fish swimming around the large rocks that occupy the private area.

If you prefer not to walk the distance, the large open beach area is perfect too. The water is typically calm there and you don't have to worry about large, rough reef rocks. It's about a 20 min taxi ride from the Royal Dockyards and varies in price. I recommend the taxi over the bus - so just be prepared to pay approx.
